A one-day program that provides an overview of preclinical and clinical development, and regulatory processes The Learning Key, Inc. is offering The Business of Pharmaceutical Drug Development Program targeted for individuals who work in or with the pharmaceutical industry. This one-day program provides an overview of the business of pharmaceutical drug development. The program uses several learning tools, including The Pharm Game® and a booklet The Pharmaceutical Business: From Drug Discovery through Product Launch. During the game, teams answer questions and proceed through discovery, development, clinical trials, and registration trying to be first to Product Launch. Teams face challenges when they encounter obstacles which parallel life in the pharmaceutical world. Program Goals
- Increase knowledge of drug development
- Explore opportunities to accelerate the drug development process
- Review clinical phases 0, I, II, III, and IV of new drug development
- Examine the role of the FDA and worldwide regulatory efforts
