David Piltz is managing partner at the Learning Key, Inc. in Washington's Crossing, Pa. The Learning Key will train your employees for you, but they also offer a range of other services.
"We do training, but we also help companies create strategic learning plans, to create corporate universities, everything from job satisfaction to how people are getting along to the general state of affairs," Piltz explained.
"We help others become effective trainers by doing 'train the trainer' programs," he said, "and we ask that company training plans be consistent with the goals of the company."
Another arena the Learning Key is involved in is actually producing learning tools and products tailor-made to specific types of businesses.
"We develop the learning and training tools that facilitators, coaches and teachers would use in their courses. We'll create everything from short to very complex simulations," Piltz said.
The Learning Key, Inc., which also has offices in New Mexico and Minnesota, is in its 18th year of business. Past clients from the Washington's Crossing office include Sovereign Bank, all of the divisions of Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Bracco Diagnostics.
"We specialize in transforming learning into action," Piltz argued, "because we'll only work with companies that are interested in taking what they want to impart to employees and turning it into behavior changes. All of our training programs are designed on a case by case and business-by-business basis." |
