In order to efficiently delegate tasks to ensure the success of a project, don’t forget:
The strategies for properly delegating tasks are evaluating the needs, preparing for the assignment, and evaluating the completed work of the project.
To do this, ask yourself:
- Have I generated a list of delegation opportunities which will ensure active participation within my team members?
- While preparing for the assignment, did I consider task objectives, performance measures, and available resources that could benefit my team member(s)?
- After each completed task, do I note what I have learned about myself along with my team members?
