Effective Interpersonal Communication
This program enables participants to increase interpersonal effectiveness and enhance working relationships. Each individual assesses his or her listening and influence skills. Exercises and practice sessions enhancing communication skills are included. Developing an action plan allows new approaches and strategies for improving interpersonal communication back on the job. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® provides a useful tool based on individual preferences and illustrates how others may differ. The MBTI is completed and scored before the program. Another short pre-program questionnaire provides feedback on individual needs and interests of the participants, allowing for some customization for each group. The program runs two- to three-days with expanded nonverbal communication and influence modules in the three-day version.

Effective Business Communications
Administrative and technical support personnel who need to communicate effectively in their job will benefit from Effective Business Communications. This two-day program expands existing communication skills and shows how to apply new skills in the work setting. The focus is on oral communication skills through clear speaking, tactful assertiveness and follow-through, and on written business communication. Virtual Communication Today
The virtual world requires that we fine-tune our communication skills and tools for collaborating when we are not face to face. These include the technical competencies involved in virtual communications, such as writing and sending good e-mail, leaving effective voice-mail messages, and facilitating teleconferences or video conferences. This seminar also explores a new model of team development for virtual teams. Whether you participate in or manage virtual teams, work in a satellite center, telecommute, or work with others who are at physically distant sites, after participating in this seminar you will be able to get your messages across clearly, effectively, and without any "virtual" interference.
